In January 2019, Mr Mindaugas Glodas will become the new managing director at Norway Registers Development AS and NRD Companies – a global information technology and consulting group of companies, controlled by INVL Technology. He will take over from Mr Rimantas Žylius who served in this position since 2014. Mr Rimantas Žylius will become a member of the Board at Norway Registers Development AS.
On 26 November 2018, Mindaugas Glodas is coming on-board as the managing director at Norway Registers Development AS Lithuanian branch, and in January 2019 he will take over the management of Norwegian company Norway Registers Development AS and NRD Companies. He will also be appointed to the Management Boards of the subsidiary companies.

According to Mr Žylius, he decided to step away from everyday management of the company because he wants to spend more time on his personal projects. „I believe that solid background and experience of the new managing director will help NRD Companies to continue strengthening its positions in strategic regions as well as to further expand the group’s project geography. During the remaining time, we will ensure a smooth transition”.
The new managing director of NRD Companies, commenting on his appointment, said that apart from national registries development and their digital transformation, tax administration systems modernisation and financial technologies he will additionally focus on development of products that will contribute to business environment improvement by modernising financial post services, microcrediting, and revenue collection automation.

Mindaugas Glodas is an experienced executive with over 20 years’ experience in ICT sector. Previously, Mr Glodas worked as the Head of Sales at IBM Lithuania, later led Microsoft subsidiary in Lithuania and the Baltics, and was responsible for Microsoft Healthcare Solutions business in Central and Eastern Europe. I n 2013, he cofounded an early stage venture capital firm and incubator Nextury Ventures. He is also a founding partner of GDPR consulting company Privacy Partners and a guest lecturer at International School of Management ISM on Executive MBA Program. F urthermore, Mr Glodas currently serves as an independent board member of Telia Lietuva – the largest fixed and mobile operator in the Baltics and is the President of the Board of the Knowledge Economy Forum. He is also a former board member of Kaunas Technical University, Lithuanian Energy Company ESCO and Association Infobalt, the American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania and Lithuanian Business Confederation. Mr Glodas is a graduate of Vilnius University, Faculty of Economics, has completed his MBA at University of Antwerp and attended an INSEAD Leadership Development program.
